After a successful first season in the NWSL, Bay FC heads into their first-ever offseason with the majority of their roster under contract for the 2025 season.

PLAYERS RETURNING: 25 players are set to return for Bay FC next season
Goalkeepers (4): Emmie Allen, Melissa Lowder*, Katelyn Rowland, Jordan Silkowitz
Defenders (9): Jen Beattie, Jordan Brewster, Abby Dahlkemper, Caprice Dydasco, Savy King, Alyssa Malonson, Emily Menges, Maddie Moreau, Kiki Pickett
Midfielders (6): Joelle Anderson, Dorian Bailey, Deyna Castellanos, Caroline Conti, Alex Loera*, Jamie Shepherd
Forwards (6): Tess Boade, Penelope Hocking, Rachel Hill, Racheal Kundananji, Asisat Oshoala, Princess
*Remains on Season-Ending Injury list
PLAYERS LEAVING:
Midfielders (2): Maya Doms and Catherine Paulson
Despite being the eighth overall pick last year in the NWSL draft, Doms could not find a place on the field for Bay FC, making only one regular-season appearance, and will not be returning next season.
Paulson was only given a guaranteed spot on the roster in October after first being signed as a National Team Replacement Player for Savy King while at the U-20 FIFA World Cup in August.
OFFSEASON PLAYER TRANSACTIONS:
Dec. 9: Bay FC announced goalkeeper Emmie Allen, midfielder Caroline Conti, and midfielder Jamie Shepherd were re-signed for the 2025 season, with options for the 2026 season.
Nov. 20 – Bay FC announced defender Maddie Moreau to a contract extension through the 2025 season with an option for 2026.
Nov. 19 – Bay FC forward Penelope Hocking will stay with the team through a three-year contract extension. The agreement includes possible extensions for the 2028 and 2029 seasons.
