Players Leaving

Midfielders (3): Alex Loera, Maya Doms and Catherine Paulson

Bay FC’s first-ever signing, Alex Loera, had her season cut short by a knee injury. The club decided she was not in their plans for 2025 when they traded Loera to the Utah Royals for $25,000 in intra-league transfer fees and a 15% sell-on fee.

“As the first player ever announced to Bay FC’s roster, her legacy will always be a part of Bay FC,” said Bay FC Head of Football and Sporting Director Matt Potter.

Despite being the eighth overall pick last year in the NWSL draft, Maya Doms could not find a place on the field for Bay FC, making only one regular-season appearance, and will not be returning next season.

Catherine Paulson was only given a guaranteed spot on the roster in October after first being signed as a National Team Replacement Player for Savy King while at the U-20 FIFA World Cup in August.
